Which explains your ridiculous lack of knowledge on metal, how much maiden have you heard?, no you dont have to like maiden and you can hate them all you want, but dont pretend like you know what you are talking about if the only maiden songs you have heard are their hits, of course you are gonna think maiden aren't that great if you only heard run for the hills, try listening to the number of the beast and tell me you feel the same way, seriously you are one of the most close minded people i have ever met, i get the feeling you haven't even given maiden a chance.

ok, this is just rediculous, why on earth would i research and listen through the entire discography of a band when then songs that i have heard from them royaly sucked!?i assure you, i'm not close minded, i simply know what i like and dislike , 80's rock music i not only dislike, but thouroghly hate....
i see that you're a nice guy and everything, and i really don't want to start a flaming argument with you, but iron maiden is really one of the social phenomenons that fascinate me and i just can't get it through my head why millions of kids and grownups arround the world worship them, i don't understand what is it about their music that helped them survive the 80's when they should have stayed there and rotted like so many other rock bands...i just can't understand it.....

Again you haven't answered my question, what songs have you heard exactly?, you may say it dosen't matter but it does, sometimes a bands worst songs tend to be their biggest hits, judging Maiden from run for the hills would be like judging The White Stripes from seven nation army or Yes from owner of a lonely heart, the popularity of the song means nothing, sometimes you have to dig deep to hear the really good stuff. Again im not pressuring you to like a band you hate, i just question your credibility on this matter.

i couldn't tell you the exact name of the songs, it's not just run to the hills, some of them i saw on tv, others ( maybe the entire album ) i had the unfortunate oportunity to hear in a cd shop while i was shopping and searching for cd's.....i think that's quite enough for me to form an opinion on the band and it's music.....don't you?
oh and seven nation army is arguably one of the best white stripes songs...

Whatever floats you boat man, i guess theres not much of a point in carrying this debate any further since it wont resolve anything, oh and i didn't say SNA wasn't a good song, just that a lot of people bash The White Stripes when thats the only song they have heard.

well i think it's a good indicator of their music, if they don't like seven nation army odds are they won't like anything else by the white stripes....
