Neither are my favorite band in the world but, I do like Sabbath a whole lot more. And if you look at the bands both influenced it's Sabbath by far.

Perhaps I haven't listened to Sabbath as much as I should have.
But Killers, Number Of The Beast, Powerslave, Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son are all ****ing classics.

When it comes to Black Sabbath, I prefer the Dio era. Ozzy is a good singer, but he's been much better solo.
However, Maiden is better by all accounts. Though I think both these bands are the greatest of legends when it comes to Heavy Metal. |

Lets be honest.
The only music Iron Maiden influenced was a couple of sh*tty power metal bands. Sabbaths influence goes beyond metal.
