Rush....age isnt an issue
I was just thinking, rush may be some old people, but their music is incredible...i'd have to say that these guys are definetly one of the main influences of progressive music and how about geddys bass....could anyone ask for a sweeter bass?

We went back there and they had come and hacked off every inoculated arm. There they were in a pile. A pile of little arms. And I remember... I... I... I cried. I wept like some grandmother. I wanted to tear my teeth out. I didn't know what I wanted to do. And I want to remember it. I never want to forget it. I never want to forget. And then I realized... like I was shot... like I was shot with a diamond... a diamond bullet right through my forehead. And I thought: My God... the genius of that. |

Gedddy Lee & Neil Peart are absolutly amazing.
Rush is a fantastic band, 2112 is an amazing experience everytime i listen to it, which seems to be all the time. Rush is one of the most influential bands of all time, in my opinion. |

I love Rush. Despite it being corny at times, you can tell they have fun making music. And it's progressive rock with soul. Effort goes into the songwriting. They're all masters at their instruments. And the vocals are an acquired taste .

And like ELP the lyrics aren't really that important, they just let the music do the talking. I love Rush, though i think they are a little overrated compared to other lesser known but equally talented prog bands. |
