I remember feeling the same way back in the 70s, wow...I cant believe that was 30+ years ago! I just cant imagine a life of playing my own music like these guys have done, along with alot of other artist, for so many years. 2112 was a landmark album that really defined that era of rock, the song was a story....15 to 20 minutes long. As so did other bands like Yes, Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd, etc. I think rock music had progressed to a stage in that era, of 'perfection'. Rock, Opera, Classical,....song arrangement along with the level of talent in those days was simply outstanding.

As far as their live albums go, I actually prefer "All The Worlds A Stage" over the Exit live album and it was recored after 2112 and has a lot of their earlier stuff on it. |

Yeah, Exit pretty much takes the best of pre-signals Rush and makes it better.
