Anyone like this band? I think their self titled album is the best album they put out. I got into them with the song "Change". There are other great songs on the album like "Arrow", "You", "Cover Me", and their 'big hit' "Left Behind". I never got their other albums, but I might get lucy, their second album sometime. I didn't like their album after Lucy, I think its called Happy Pills.

This is a band that I would've liked to seen live, but I never got the chance.

Does anyone like these guys? A Seattle band emerging from the (shock-horror) early 90's grunge scene.

Apparently grunge fans piss on them for not being true grunge. Opposing this, the band members consider themselves a rock n roll outfit.

I also have their self-titled album, it's pretty good in my opinion, though fairly generic of the grunge era. I somewhat enjoy Kevin Martin's vocals and theres some alright guitaring involved.
A slight difference in their sound compared to other grunge bands is the echo of their music, a kind of background feeling to it rather then the upfront raw distortion of Nirvana or Soundgarden etc.

And then I realized... like I was shot... like I was shot with a diamond... a diamond bullet right through my forehead. And I thought: My God... the genius of that.

I rather listen to other generic 90s stuff like local h and marcy playground. Candlebox is mediocore at best.

By the time Candlebox came along I was so sick of grunge my reaction was pretty much 'Oh God not another one , f*ck off'.

I hated Moist more though.

^ Yeah I've only just got it, but I can see it's not something that will hold much time in my stereo. I'm just going through the 'novelty' stage I guess.
