Acid Mammoth

Doom Metal is the only genre for a real man, as you know. Doesn't need to scream, or bounce off the walls asking for your attention. Doom lumbers across the landscape to the rhythm of societies lament. And given that Acid Mammoth is from Greece, I suppose these guys are out here swaying to the lament of Western Society.

The album was pretty good. Album of the year? No. I thought maybe the songs weren't that different, but this is only their second album, and I'm keeping an ear sharp for what they can produce in the coming years. Having said that, it's fronted by brothers, which almost certainly means if they have a modicum of success they're going to explode dissasterously.
