I just called up my local AM station and had them play the first track off of Persistence...

I recorded it using my Talkboy Tape Recorder. I'll let you know how it sounds.

the most helpful post in this thread by a long shot so far :P

anyways, i am the audiophile dork who keeps finding imperfections in songs that drive me nuts until i can confirm whether its the recording or just my copy. do any of you actually have any firsthand experience with this album? or is this just going to be a joke fest?

ok dude, nobody accused your phone of anything that isnt true. No phone on the market today nor any over the last decade has anywhere near good enough speakers to accurately represent quality sound. Unless your phone has what amounts to the parts of a good bluetooth speaker on it, then it wont even come close to being able to do so.

Your phones audio quality sucks. Every phones audio quality sucks. No phones audio quality doesnt suck...
