Yeah the old lineup will never work. Corgan is genius but can't seem to keep a band together. It's very sad really.

I am referring to the "singles band" aspect. The pumpkins are anything but that.

Just so long as we don't get TheFutureEmbrace part II I don't really mind who is in / out of the band... I mean it was all pretty much Corgan's stuff anyways...

... But I will most definitely miss Chamberlins choppy, edgy style...

Lets hope the new Smashing Pumpkins doesn't suffer too badly musically speaking...

Yeah, your opinion is seconded. Jimmy Chamberlin has always been a fav. drummer of mine. Billy Coragn is going to do what he always does, no matter who is in the band. Thats what has been their poison they last few outings. Noone has creative input over Corgan. As a fellow musician, I understand why most people would be frustrated by this, I mean if you have an idea he likes, he may use it. But he will get the credit, thats just how it is. Unfortunately, I don't think Corgan will ever get it and humble himself. I mean realise that he hasn't made a good piece of music since the first breakup. Coincidence? I think not.

There were a few really good tracks off the new one. I loved Doomsday Clock and Tarantula. Not to mention United States and Starz.

Yes I do own Zeitgeist, as well as TheFutureEmbrace I was more refering to the albums as a whole, rather than induvidual songs from them.

I absolutely LOVED Zeitgeist... TheFutureEmbrace was something I liked a fair bit to start with, but in the end it was more like I tolerated more so than loved it to bits...
