The Smashing Pumpkins
Recently I found the I Am One UK single at a record store here in Vancouver, Canada and listened to the old Gish-era B-sides that I hadn't heard in ages. Tracks like 'Plume' and 'Starla' reminded me just how amazing the Smashing Pumpkins were over their varied lifespan. "My boredom has outshined the sun/" Billy sings on Plume, back when their tracks sounded more alt-rock, more Nirvana-grunge, if you know what I mean.
What I'm trying to say is talk about the Smashing Pumpkins and/or Billy Corgan. Sorry if a thread has already been started.
