Neil Peart is not diverse in rush, and im not going to go back and look, but I recall everyone else sticking with one style, and were lucky to match grohls intensity.

I know you could go on defending your little Dave Grohl for about 30 pages, but I could care less. The only reason I have seen you put out is that he is associated with one of the greatest bands of the 90's.

P.S. Danny Carey is better than Dave also.

It would be sweet if you could be less of a condescending ****. I like Danny Carey better personally, and I only mentioned Nirvana in the list of bands he was in. I never said that they were the basis for his greatness. I personally think on songs like "the road" and "no one knows" define him as a better drummer than his nirvana stuff. But again, you put words in my mouth, be a ****, and feel good about yourself.

OK, so you have a point... He has been in/involved with three really great and popular bands. For me that doesn't cut for an AMAZING drummer, but as long as a drummer has these three things: Style, Talent, and makes the music sound better/gives the song what it needs, then I will give them cred for being a good drummer. Though I don't feel Grohl has all of those things up to par with some drumming greats from the past and present. You can argue with me all you want....calling me names and $hit like that, but that's not gonna change my opinion.
