On the Third Day vs. Queen s/t
Two orchestral rock bands. Two albums from 1973. But there can be only one.

Same. They're so fun and adorable and weird. Showdown makes me wanna dance while smashing someone's face in. And I know that the ultimate conclusion of my life is to create a ragtag band of misfit musicians, climb to the top of the Demon Tower that will be summoned in the heart of Newer York by an evil magician (probably Trump's final form), and then end world hunger and reverse global warming by playing this song at top volume: |
You’ve helped me see more depth in ELO. Something I suspected was there but you pointed it out to me but I voted for Queen based on decades of eating what was available.
I might be wrong - especially when just considering these records. I’m not quite ready to go ELO digging again just yet, however |
I''d vote Queen either way but wouldn't be afraid to do so strictly on the strength of these two songs
I love ELO too, but Great King Rat is just an unmatchable track of all time. |
Aw **** yeah, Great King Rat is awesome, this much is true.
But Ma-Ma-Ma-Belle has that special something, that stripped down oomph, those lurching violins, it gives me a violent orgasm every time I hear it. |
GKR makes me wanna strike a stately pose
|
May I strike a pose with you?
