Yes I do agree, but aperance has a role in this to. I mean if Britney Spears was to show herself without make-up on, she wouldn't have a large popularity from the guys nor girls. By the way i'm talking ages ago, she isn't popular anymore, she should have retired along time ago.

^ But see, thats exactly my point. People only like(d) her because of her image. Not because of her music. Hence, why she isan't a musician, she is a model. Its a shameful thing to use a beautiful art form (music) and twist it so that its mearly a platform to make money. I know that happens alot in the music industry, but that doesn't make it any less worse or any less wrong. I know bands and singers have to have some sort of image, but please, just be yourself instead of manufacturing some garbage just to appeal to shallow fans. And when it becomes more about the image than the music, they are models.

So what ur saying is that the bands who wear make-up know that without it they would have no fans?

Lucky Chad knows how to apply a good mascara then.

Exactly man. Let's see good musicians that wore make up...David Bowie, Brian Eno, Alice Cooper, Ozzy Osbourne, dot dot dot. Plus, who cares if a musician is gay. I like Queen (Freddie Mercury), I like some of Elton John's stuff, I like David Bowie (He's by). They're all good musicians.

I usualy despise nu metal...But there are a few exceptions, Incubus(that is if you consider them nu metal, which i dont)is one of my favorite bands...Deftones and SOAD are also very good, Korn IMO are good and not that bad like everyone says, and Mudvayne is good, im not that big into their music, but they certainly have talent, Ryan Martinie is a very good bassist.
