Godsmack for sure. Check out their acoustics!!

In my personal opinion,(Godsmack vs Disturbed), would be a more viable choice to compare each other with. My choice between Godsmack & Staind would be a bias pick, because Staind is one of my favorite bands, they are alot more versatial musically than Godsmack. (STAIND-'Outside'). I don't like either of them, butI'd go with Staind becasue I like their acoustic work.

I like both sometimes.... But I think Id have to go with Godsmack.

Ive never went through an whole Stained Album but I have listened to Godsmack back in the day through and through.

I`ve listened to stuff by both and I think Godsmack are basically awful and really tarnish the good name of metal, but Staind are even worse, with their post-grunge style sound. Somebody mentioned Disturbed as well...........its gets even worse!

When I was younger I was into nu metal (I didn't know anyone who wasn't at that age), but I could still never get into Godsmack or Staind (especially). I think I knew and loved Alice in Chains too early and realized how bad they both were ripping them off. My younger brother loved Godsmack so I ended up actually hearing a chunk of their music...the drums were actually impressive at times, so I say they would be the better of the two.

both godsmack and staind were good back in the day... but the new staind that ive heard is just sellout pussy ****, and new godsmack just isnt all that great. id go with old godsmack over old staind however.

Godsmack at least has a few decent songs that I've heard, and their bass player ain't too bad either.

Staind just straight up sucks.

honestly I think they are both great.

It's been a while since I've heard about Staind and Godsmack.
