I think Elphenor actually showed me some Sonic Youth once and I liked it. I think it might have been something from the Evol album.

I doubt that AIC's campfire singalongs record will sway him but it's worth a shot I guess.

Tbh "getting serious for a moment" by bringing out an acoustic is one of the most cock waggliest (wagglingest?) moves you can make.

I've heard that album like once, but I'm assuming those versions are either lame or the exact same thing as the album and therefore pointless. But the point of Jar of Flies isn't that they quieted down and got more emotional or whatever, they had a pre-existing talent for that kind of song and explored it.
