Here we go then. Monday's album is this classic from Faith No More. Tell everyone what you think, and don't forget to vote, mother****ers. :D

Great album. I love Faith No More, but this and King For A Day, Fool For A Lifetime is probably their only truly great albums.

The opening track, "Land of Sunshine", is buckets of fun and that walking bassline is all kinds of awesome. The song has an odd feeling of not really having a chorus, as any of the two sections you could consider the chorus feel more like bridges.

Fun, alt-metal songs with interesting sonic details just keep piling on and Patton's singing goes through a large range of styles and voices, never failing to sound engaging in any of them.

"Smaller and Smaller" is my favorite song off the album, but I think they're all good and about half an album's worth of songs qualify as favorite material for me.

Even the songs that could be considered curious work really well. "RV", for example, is a really good track and shows that FNM don't need to rely on their chunky metal riffs to be entertaining.

The lyrics are generally pretty inventive and funny, with "Be Aggressive" being one of the songs that I find most difficult not to sing along with.

Guitar work, drums and bass are all outstanding, all throughout the album. I could see some people finding the keyboards cheesy, but I like how they add a lot of texture to the album and the artifice of these sounds add to the modern, "not your daddy's metal" feel of the record as a whole.

A few of my top favorite songs from this album: "Smaller And Smaller", "Kindergarten", "Land of Sunshine", "Everything's Ruined" and "Midlife Crisis".

10/10 because I really just like this thing a lot.

Be Aggressive and RV should have been cut but otherwise this is a great and fun record full of creative composition. ****lobber is probably their best song. Going with 8/10

Don't be so boring.
Why is it garbage?
That's what I want to know.

Was the first album I ever reviewed on MB, I can't praise this album highly enough, 10/10
