Let's just revamp the other one, having a metal specific one is a bit redundant given how much metal is already on that list.

Well, not really. People chose the albums on the other one based on one criterion, this is another. This is not just the albums you think are classics, but the metal/hard rock ones you would consider. That could weigh on the decision of members as to what to include/exclude, had that been the original point of Blank's thread. Anyway, let's stick with this and see how many people are interested, and if it's worth doing. Who knows? Blank may want to resurrect his thread at some time, so I'd rather not just take it over or take it apart.
