Duh. I don't have time to give an album I've never heard enough time to determine whether or not it's really a classic. ****, I don't even have enough time to do the ones I know already.

It's kind of hard to find albums on that list I haven't at least listened to.

It's not like I listen to any of these 50 times. 1-3, usually. I manage to fit it in, since it's easy to listen to music while working on something else or reading a book. I don't really care about whether any of these albums are "classics".

That's fine for you but I don't consider 1 listen to be a fair shot in the slightest. Also, time.

Eh, I think it's better than nothing. I don't have any qualms about voting on an album after 1 listen. I'm just doing all these album threads because it's fun and I like forming an opinion on new music.

But if you don't find it worth your time, I can't argue with that.

If we weren't using the word classic I'd feel the same way.

I choose to ignore the premise of the thread. Much more convenient!

Honestly I can take it or leave it, but if you were to go with the single thread idea, I'd recommend doing it moving forward since the discussions in the other ones overlap.
Hmm...

Yeah I was kind of disappointed at the dearth of discussion on the Bowie thread to be honest. Maybe a single "classic artist" thread might be better, and let people talk about the albums they want to talk about. Comments?

That's actually not a bad idea. Fairness and all that. I'll look to see who hasn't had a pick yet. Even I have had one.

Oh man, I could not listen to music (at least, properly, paying attention) while reading. Or writing. I need to devote my attention to something I'm supposed to be evaluating.

So what about a simple "Metal Classics" thread where people just talk randomly about whatever album(s) they want to?
