Slipknot are insanely good!

i never used to like slipknot. infact i hated them. my friend was really into them and used to talk about alot. then one day he made me sit down and listen to one of thier albums. i did it reluctently, but before the album was finished i loved them.

most people who say that they just make sounds, haven;t actually listened to them. if u actually listen to slipknot their music is excellent. Every single member in slipknot is highly talented at what they do, and they all have thier own style, and thats what makes thier unique(sp) sound. i think these guys rule and they are bloody awesome live!

i dont think you should say "highly" talented. Craig only stands their until the beginning and end of the songs.

yeah im not exactly sure what craig does.
i think he controls everything that goes on in the live shows, like volume, effects and stuff like that. I THINK!... well guessing.

but still, they are great!

^ damn straight.. while stage presence is a big part of how good you are you should let the music do at least some of the talking

Okay well if it was about that then lets start talking about Mudvayne. They used to wear makeup and they were actually decent. The makeup is gone but the music is still good, if slipknot lost their makeup everyone would be like "oh what a crappy band" In all honesty, they look at slipknot and think "wow. thats hardcore. scary makeup...must mean good music." wrong. And no, I do believe that they bang on trashcans in many songs. But you know what, I'm not going to waste MY time talking about a band that really shouldn't even be given this much credit as to being a thread on a forum.

To me it is not music. Its simply horrid, but thats a personal opinion as is basically everything else I say. I normally try and keep an open mind when it comes to music but I can't listen to Slipknot. They make me want to vomit.

slipknot are so good! how can you not like them? coreys voice is amazing and joeys drumming...need i go on? i'll say "iowa" is a bit dodgy but you can't argue with the other 2 albums.
