That's just it though, the band are all about image and sadly lacking in the music department.

and the reason they have so many members is because
they want nothing on Tape for a live show meaning

who will play precussion/Back up vocals DJ/Keys ..u want that all on a loop tape for a live show that's cool with U ..??????

Music tends to be all about image, a lot of time. Although not all the time. Why be a musician when you can be a musician and an entertainer?

well to me its simple


Maiden Floyd and eric there not heavy enough dark enough and when I was a kid those were two very important factors esp the Dark part I had some fuked up things swirling around my head (prob still do LOL) and eric Clapton didn't cut it LOL

Slipknot is one of the least respected metal bands out there, constantly being disregarded and made fun of by most music fans cause of its musical simplicity and fanbase. Why would anyone like them for their image? Your logic and reasoning have to be pretty terrible to come to that conclusion.

Do you want to know who would people actually like for image? Aged, reputable, revered bands like the ones you listed. Cause they make people feel as if they knew everything there is to know about music if they listen to them, which means it attracts a lot of posers.
