For the most part they indeed do suck but I don't mind a few of their songs. "Psychosocial" and a couple other tracks are part of my workout playlist. Of course, if I'm just wanting to relax and listen to some good metal, these guys are the last band on my mind. I'd rather zone out to some Mastodon or Electric Wizard any day.

i think having 3 drummers must urkk some people ive noticed...tho i dont know why because not alot of bands do that SLipknot did that because i guess they wanted more precussion in your FACE !!!

and slipknot never even claimed to be a Metal Band hell they set no boundries to there music thats one reason i like them everyone of there albums is different

As a fan of Slipknot, I admit that there are too many "unnecessary" people in the band. They would be the absolute same band and have the absolutely same sound if they were 6 instead of 9 (with Paul Gray), but that doesn't bother me at all. Neither the fact that many of their fans are children. Most of the fans of, lets say, 70s rock are 40+ years old. Does that mean that the younger generation shouldn't listen to it. Of course Slipknot aren't even in my top 10 metal bands, but they have very good songs, their lyrics aren't bad (for a metal band), Corey Taylor is one of the most intelligent metal musicians. Everybody who "hates" them without a reasonable explanation is just a close-minded person who follows the wave.

They suck and their music sucks. What more can one person say?

You know, one out of every ten people are gay, so, statistically speaking, one of them is probably gay. Not that that means anything, but it just amuses me.
