Rush officially calling it quits.
 

Peart had announced his retirement 2 years ago but fans help out hope that there might be one last album and tour. Lifeson confirmed recently that the band if officially done. :(

Well, 41 years and 30 albums is a pretty damn good run!

Better that they end this way than running their legacy into the ground. At least people like Ozzy are kinda embracing the latter at this point.

No. The implication was that Rush didn't stain their legacy by changing members. And to think, if not for Rutsey's health he would have stayed in the band and they would most likely have fizzled out after 2-3 albums. Heck, they almost got dropped after Caress of Steel even with Peart at the helm for two albums.
