Cryptopsy are good, but Gorguts have surpassed them in overall consistency.
But Flo Mournier is one of the best drummers in all of metal.
I love "None So Vile", probably one of the best Death Metal albums.

Two great albums and then two good albums and then not good albums. First two are anti-god on a stick, but they just don't have a good enough ratio of good/bad albums to be the best. But god damn is None So Vile possibly the best DM album ever.

I actually like all the Lord Worm albums about equal. Even "Once Was Not" is not quite as good as first 2, but still great in its own right.
This may be my favorite song by them:

Whisper Supremacy was pretty great musically, but Worm's vocals deteriorated to an extent that's kind of shocking in such a relatively short amount of time. Once Was Not was also pretty ****ing phat. I seem to remember the music at least on And Then You'll Beg being good too.

That was the first album I think i heard by them, heating this song on a radio channel.
Mike DiSalvo was vocalist on Whisper... and I thought he did a decent job, but he was hated by some already for not being Lord Worm.
Another guy who doesn't get as much credit is Sylvain Houde, the original vocalist for Kataklysm, who I think was great, he didnt last long, but this EP in particular is one of my favorites.

Oh **** you right. I know I thought the same thing a while back and then found out I was wrong and now I forgot and went back to being an ignoramus.
