I agree that Gorguts is the pinnacle of death metal since it captures the key elements of it while also maintaining that strive for originality that invented the genre in the first place and any attempt to give Cryptopsy points for influence and innovation just gives Gorguts more of an upper hand.

I just like Cryptopsy more cause they're a much better soundtrack to attacking someone with a hammer and their riffs are more savage.

Nah Gorguts is better because you can bludgeon to the rhythm and with their weird timing, the victim is never expecting it and it's an all around better experience.

They don't have the necessary visceral hatred and violence though. They're more out of this world than actually brutal.

I got 2 None So Vile T-Shirts, listen trough the album several times a day, love Whisper Supremacy too, and We Bleed on the album And Then You`ll Beg is my favourite song of all time
