I will concede that Kate Bush had the better voice. Yeah, Peter Gabriel was better early on than from So onwards while Kate Bush stayed consistent, so you may something there, Mic.

I don't really listen to either of these artists, but Peter Gabriel was good in Genesis and also helped popularize World Music artists, so I'm voting for him, MicShazam.

The gap is closing, so you'd better hold off from doing some Kate Bush style dance of triumph!

Bush's stuff is great but Gabriel's work with Genesis plus his awesome solo material definitely puts him ahead.

I don't know, you guys bring up a point, but I feel like I have to penalize Gabriel for Genesis if anything (yeah man, I said it). His solo material was probably decent, but I mostly just go back and listen to Shock The Monkey a rare time.

Kate Bush is part of the fabric of my life in a way that makes it impossible for me to be fair. She's 11 out of 10 as far as I'm concerned.

^ I bet you wouldn't say that if Trollheart was still here!

Not expecting to change your mind, MicShazam, but here's a nice example of the Peter Gabriel I like - content to be part of an international ensemble makin' cool music together:-
