How is it cheating? I thought this thread was for instrumental metal.

Anyway, yeah, that song and that whole album are awesome.

Djent is hardly a well-defined genre.

This post was originally four times as long, but that's essentially what it said.

I see "instrumentals" as being those songs from a band with vocals that are listed on the back of an album as "(instrumental)". Doesn't particularly make sense tbh, but that's just me.

In my opinion, what people describe as djent is usually some combination of technical death metal and sludge metal, and sometimes groove metal. You batty like the groove metal side, and I like the suped-up proggy/post-metal kind.

I'm no expert on djent, but I just don't care for the Meshuggah-lite bands that try to throw in some prog to feel like they're more than just boring ****.

One of two on the album. Progressive/power fans will enjoy this. Hell, just riff fans will enjoy this.
