More Pagan (which may not appeal to your uber-Christian beliefs of course) than Folk Metal, but I was really impressed by this:
(There might be some growling somewhere in it, I can't remember, but if I recall properly mostly it's instrumental or a kind of low howling when the vocals kick in)

Half of Bergtatt by Ulver doesn't have black metal vocals, it might warm you up to them as well in the places they do show up.
