I probably should've mentioned this in my first post: I have very negative feelings towards their new Album.
I hate Pop for anecdotal reasons that I'm not going to get into right now.
I gave it a chance by listening to "Heavy", but I honestly couldn't stand it.

And in reply to a few comments: While yes, they can be bland and over emotional; there is still something about their sound that I like. Although, I'm not sure what that is. XD

I respect all of your opinions, and I like that you guys are discussing this in a civil manner. ^^

I enjoyed Hybrid Theory when I was 13-14. Pretty sure I could still rap most of 'In the End' despite having not heard it for close to a decade.

But they don't have much depth.

Pfft Almost everyone loved Hybrid Theory when it came out. The main reason I like it was for the whole Nu Metal mixing rock and rap together.

They did change their sound over time and experimented with different things. I just can't be bothered with The new album though.

Cool but be sure to wait for a few successful dates before you bring that kind of thing up.

You know who almost everyone loved early on and hated in hindsight? HITLER!

I remember when it came out. It was all over the radio right next to Limp Bizkit, Nickelback, Staind, and Creed. So clearly "everyone" had impeccable taste.

Just because they were on the radio with them doesn't mean they should be lumped in with the rest.

Yeah they kinda should. They were really nothing more than Limp Bizkit with some extra buttrock influence back then.
