My theory is that drug use/addiction and depression were very rampant in the grunge scene.

Or maybe it was the RECORD LABELS man. How can they sell those (c)rap records if there are still rock musicians out in the mix? They probably put the hits out on all of them.

These guys were punks who were thrust into the mainstream with the music industry throwing money at them. To me, they are victims of the beast that the industry had become. Proof it needed to die, honestly.
