I just don't know how it's even possible to make an 8 minute song 14 minutes without improvising a single note

I dunno I guess it's just medleys of other songs and drum solos. But drum solos are improvised right

Tbh he'd be the main member that I'm taking into account. He does so many fills and rolls everywhere that the drums are generally always different, but I imagine that's the idea when it comes to drums

Possibly, but we called it carbon paper: "Give us another sheet of carbon paper there, Gerry." "I need carbon from the stores, Derek." Entry rejected because you didn't press hard enough on the carbon paper and we can't read the third copy, and so on.
