^ Thanks Janszoon ! That's a combination I really love: slow and strange elec guitar. And yes, I'm seeing a night drive through an empty landscape more than lazing around in bed at 3pm. Sorry, Chiomara - you're on your own.

A few years ago I would have said Earth 2 but I appreciate Bees Made Honey in the Lion's Skull more these days.

Their collab with The Bug is great too.

She may have been talking about this era of their sound. At first they were basically instrumental Black Sabbath on a metric ton of heroin.

With all these recs rolling in, I thought it might be useful (to any other beginners like myself) to collate them all. So here they are: Earth's 8 studio albums, and who's mentioned which so far:-

Earth 2: Special Low-Frequency Version (1993) Batlord, Zer0, Wpnfire, OccultHawk, Frownland
— —
Phase 3: Thrones and Dominions (1995) priestofsyrinx
— —
Pentastar: In the Style of Demons (1996) Chiomara, Batlord
— —
Hex; Or Printing in the Infernal Method (2005) Janszoon
— —
The Bees Made Honey in the Lion's Skull (2008) Batlord, Frownland
— —
Angels of Darkness, Demons of Light I (2011)

Angels of Darkness, Demons of Light II (2012)
— —
Primitive and Deadly (2014)

Most votes are for the early albums, but I'm enjoying this track from Angels/Demons I. It reminds me of some of my prefered tracks by The Myrrors.
