There is no real metal anymore!

The true metal gods were,
Megadeth,
Metallica,
Anthrax,
Pantera,

But Megadeth, and Pantera are no more. And i think everyone will agree, that since the St Anger album, Metallica have just lost it! and alto Anthrax are still a F***ing GREAT band, even they have strayed away from their original RAW POWER attitude.

So i would have to say that "Real Metal" is with the gods!

Metal is not dead, well maybe in the US, but the euros have a crap load of great metal bands. And metallica sucked when they came out with reload.

I never actually said metal was DEAD! I said hat REAL METAL IS WITH THE GODS! maybe metal is still going strong, but in my opinion, it was alot better when Megadeth etc was still around.

I hear what you are saying, but to me, metal is a kind of music which when i hear it, i want to get up and move. It fills me with energy. Maybe thats coz i play the guitar, i don't know. But with todays standards, it just isn't the same as it was!
