I wasn't sure if this should go here or in the punk section but whatever

Dead Cross is a supergroup made up of Dave Lombardo (Slayer, Fantômas), Justin Pearson (The Locust, Head Wound City), and Michael Crain (Retox).

Gabe Serbian of Cattle Decapitaion, The Locust, and HWC was initially the vocalist, but left for undisclosed reasons. It's a shame, he actually kicked ass on vocals. He's getting replaced by Mike Patton.

A more than worthy successor, but definitely not the same beast as it would have been imo and I wish he didn't care so much about his family. **** raising your daughter, make me some crushing masterpieces, bitch! Here's to hoping that he does more vox in some way in the future because he really surprised me with how dank he is.

While my Patton boner is on the other side of the spectrum, I agree for the time being. Patton is diverse enough to make me wonder at least, as I'm very curious about what exactly he'll do. I think that Serbian's style was more fitting for the group as I know it but that's as I know the group. Will the change be for the better? I'll have to find out when I hear it. I think a different sound entirely is inevitable though.

Well I'm excited for the album now. Looks like it'll be like a less technical sister album to Irony is a Dead Scene.
