Luca Mai of Zu was on some of their albums if that means anything (it should).

I know but I didn't connect the two in that post. I'm drunk and invoking the Ki rule.

Ion Dissonance, Nostromo, and probably Gaza should replace As the Sun Sets, Genghis Tron, and The Number Twelve. Not sure about that Coalesce album either, but more about which Coalesce album.

I'd be on board with replacing ATSS, and one of the other two but not both. The list needs something like that, and they're both still some of the highest regarded mathcore albums out there.

I'd say The Number Twelve then. They sound too generic for me. I love that Nostromo album, but haven't listened to Gaza enough to talk about it. I'll say give me an hour or so to give my final verdict, but The Number Twelve needs to go for either Gaza or Nostromo. ATSS needs to go for Ion Dissonance no question though. Final answer on that ****.

And I'd still like to talk about which Psyopus and Coalesce album goes on.

have you not listened to Mongrel? That's as far from generic as it gets, the ****

if anything that's the most experimental album on the list

Alright, maybe not generic, but I'd still take Nostromo over it. And I imagine others would take Gaza. Have you not listened to Nostromo? Pure ****ing intensity. That's my vote. It's so much heavier than 99% of metal/mathcore.

It's like grindcore made an artform out of the breakdown.
