Opiate is good, but it doesn't really showcase what makes Tool badass.

Slipknot - Slipknot
Tool - Ænima
Monster Magnet - Superjudge
Nirvana - Bleach
Queens Of the Stone Age - Songs For the Deaf
System of a Down - Toxicity
Drowning Pool - Sinner
Metallica - Master Of Puppets
Anthrax - Spreading the Disease
Kyuss - (I can't pick one, they're all ****ing great.)

No way I can come up with a top 10 off the top of my head and I am not willing to halfass it. Gonna put in some work now...

In looking at all the music on my computer I now realize that I have downloaded Motley Crue's entire discography twice and put them in two different places in my music files.

It would be pretty hard to give any one band two spots, but their first two albums are pretty important to me.

Alive And Rising has Tatsuya Yoshida on drums. Imagine some raw, hardcore influenced, somewhat psychedelic metal with that kind of drumming. Epic stuff.

And Darkspace is Wintherr's (aka Paysage d'Hiver) other band.
