Definition of heaviness. These guys put Big 4/German thrash bands to shame.

****ing love that album, but Demolition Hammer puts them to shame.

**** yeah, love Solstice. I feel their sound is a bit... two-dimensional, I guess? So I don't listen to them as much as some death thrash bands, but I always whip out that album when I'm in that mood. They ****ing rip more than most at least.
A band I only recently discovered, I think they might have only had the one full-length, but it's some high quality death thrash. I feel like it's a bit closer to late-80s NYHC than most bands, and with a name like Num Skull, they probably are. |
Oh, and totally not American (Swedish), but while we're talking about death thrash, Merciless is raw as ****.

Damn I wished I would have known about this forum earlier. Lots of new stuff to me and I have heard a lot.

Tank and Venom + hardcore punk = this ****ing awesome, raw, and primitive thrash metal band.
Qwerty, take note. Not technically 1st wave black metal, but they hit many of the same notes. |
