Yellow Eyes can obv be compared heavily to Krallice, who are among the big boys of modern metal. But YE is a lot rawer and succinct. Basically sounds like Krallice playing "true black metal". And that's just badass. I love Krallice but they're definitely a polarizing band and get bashed a lot by the non-posers for abandoning tradition. Yellow Eyes are great for them I'd think. The ultra intricate riff onslaught if Krallice is presented here in an older school sounding way. It's very captivating
