dusty, atmospheric black metal with very satisfying Drudkhish production. It has that desert dynamic, full of windswept tumbleweed builds.
A thick haze blows in from the west and enrobes the plains in dusk.

this album is more or less perfect imo. It might be extreme to call it a masterpiece but it's just done as well as an album like this could be done. It has great dynamics and atmosphere, and championly grand riffs. And some violin and somber bits. Everything about the sound and music is successful.

this is so inventive and all around amazing. Doing a split with him. This is something that needs to be heard if you want to go as far as progression and experimentation can psychedelically go.

Kind of oddly produced as well, ain't it? And I certainly don't mean that in a bad way! This is one hell of a ride! Might be more fun than good, though, idk? Will defenitely buckle up and check this out some more. Funkadelic blackened cybergrind prog. Eh, yeah

This album is SO good. They really nail the "old west" feel, even when at their heavy metal-est (see: the galloping riffs that sound like horses).

Not much of a black metal fan honestly, but there's a few bands I really like. I'm a huge fan of Melechesh in particular, any other fans here?

^ Neither am I. When I am in the rare mood for BM though, I swing towards melodic stuff like this:

Did you know that the guy from Xploding Plastix was in the band?

I did indeed. Hagen, right? I find it interesting how a black metal guitarist became a nu jazz drummer.
