There is no violent hard rock. Rainbow's 'Kill the King' ( 1977 ) is probably the most 'agressive' hard rock song but it sounds very quietly compared to metal songs.

Speaking of bands with RJD, I think Black Sabbath's Dehumanizer and Dio's Strange Highways are hard rock/melodic metal that qualify as pretty f'ing violent. Also two of both bands' most underrated albums.
