Australian Art Rock, Punk, and Proto-Punk from the Late 60s- Early 80s
Kinda specific topic, but I've had a soft spot for that whole scene for years now, even if I haven't delved that far into it. Radio Birdman, The Saints, and Lipstick Killers still get airtime from me on occasion and they always give me something a little different than what I get from other places from the same time period. Not as experimental as post-punk, but I guess due to the isolation they're not bound by the same box that the rest of punk got stuck in.
Anyone else love them some Aussie ****?
So this is totally a better Ramones song than the Ramones ever recorded, right?

Founding Saints member Ed Kuepper went on to form Laughing Clowns who were pretty great.

Can I push the timeframe to 1987? Thug (not to be confused with tons of other bands that are called thug) were pretty interesting.

The Celibate Rifles would have to make the list.
