They love doing fake in-studio videos. Makes them look more authentic or some ****.

I guess they're doing a big marketing thing where they drop videos for every song on the album and this was the first one I checked out. Jesus those verse vocals are absolutely terrible, but not bad otherwise and I even like the chorus. Better than Death Magnetic. Gotta say that Hetfield is too much of an old man to be presented as tough like this video tries to do (but let's be honest, he hasn't been that convincing for a long time).

This is a good song. Didn't even need to play it at 1.5 speed to make it listenable. Could've been a cut on AJFA.

Just stole the album off Soulseek and am on track 2, "Atlas, Rise!", and this is already showing signs of being the best Metallica album in 20 years. As Frownland half said it's like Kill Em All by way of AJFA, with some weird Iron Maiden solos thrown in for some reason. Third track, "Now that We're Dead" just started and it's got some sick mid-paced riffs that call back to "The Thing that Should Not Be" and "Harvester of Sorrow", but without being half as crushing. Still nice.

Nope. On the last song on the first disc and they haven't yet dropped the ball.
