Zeppelin was certainly influenced by Blues in their early career, which I guess you can say is a "black" genre, but they put their own twist on it that was completely unique

or James Joyce "stole" from Homer
Einstein, Beethoven, and Joyce might have more freely admitted specific influences, Zeppelin didn't.
