Love the introductory scream(s).
Some of the most hilariously over the top vocals in metal.

Well, in 1971 if I told my dad the new Who album was great he'd say he didn't like it and I'd say "well you just don't understand, everyone my age loves the album!"

A better analogy would be if 30 years from now you tell some folks in their 20s about how great that same Pitbull album is/was and they call you a sheep and tell you the record is mediocre at best.

Now you're being ridiculous. If an album is released back in 1971 and makes its way into the top 5 in album charts (at the time of its release) all over the world, then that just says it's an album that a lot of people really liked back then.

In the subsequent decades have a lot of people bought it based on its rep? Sure. Have a lot of people bought it cause they heard some of the tracks on a classic rock station and thought, hey that's really good. Sure. Have a bunch of critics and music sites decided that based on its staying power, continued fan base, and their own critical assessment of the album that it's an all time classic? Sure.

If some snotty nosed 20-something thinks it's mediocre, and that anyone who likes it must be a sheep - does that take anything away from the album? Hell no.

Yeah, I guess, whatever way you want to put it, the argument stinks.

Chula's just an OG dudebro. They're not known to handle criticism well and aren't that aware of their surroundings.

I bet you only like Beefheart because one of your nerdy ass friends, who also can't play or write for ****, turned you on to him and told you how edgy and hip it is to be a fan of him. He is, after all, the very definition of a cult artist.

You're not only a sheep. You're an edgy sheep who thinks they're cooler than most because you hail terrible music. Plus Beefheart gives your crap a baseline for you to feel good about about your own terrible music.

Baaaaaaa

Who's Next is mediocre? Step away son.

Fair enough. And that's true I suppose.

Yes, Who's Next is incredibly mediocre. How hard is that to understand?
