Pretty much, I never thought I would live long enough to see the day when advent guard 3/4 timing bull$hit became the new indie hip....but it's helping me understand the term as to why I should have "lived fast and died young"

Bon Scott AC/DC is not the Brian Johnson bull$hit, the fact that it is down on the count to a two bit band like Goreguts is a disgrace....but not unexpected for music banter. I'll take my scummy white trash AC/DC over...what did Anal **** call Dillinger Escape Plan again...oh yes jazz f@ggots.

If this turns out to be the long painful process of watching all my favourite bands go down to bull$hit, I'm going to have to start to back your black metal bands out of spite. At least they've got balls. Anyways my vent!

I can be entertained by Obscura in short bursts, but I still have no idea what people find entertaining about Calculating Infinity. It's not even really intense, just unlikeable to the point of boredom.

I had polished off a bottle of wine, when I wrote whatever it is I wrote up there, but I agree, Calculating Infinity is beyond dull.

If indie hip is to start liking advent guard progressive metal bands that play in off beat time signatures than you can be assured of one thing...their fans will never have to worry about it becoming popular, because no one will like it.

Not necessarily, I listen to tons of baroque and classical music as well as jazz for background music, but yes, when it comes to rock music, I prefer three chord blues.
