I thought the initial point was to put on albums that were your favourite, not necessarily just ones that are critically regarded?

That is not its peak and your definition of metalcore sucks ass. The actual peak would have been around a decade earlier, and even if you're talking about ****ty melodic metalcore then you're still behind the times as it "peaked" several years earlier.
