I love intensity in my music, Slayer delivers that better than most metal bands, especially Anthrax, Megadeth, and Metallica.

Personally, I'd say intensity is the same throughout all of them except Anthrax. They are more about fun rather then intensity.

Which unfortunately is why they were more of the wild card when it came to discussing the big 4. Anthrax are great though. They just didn't fit in with the rest of the bands.

You could make a case for Kill 'Em All, but I definitely disagree. Slayer's music is a relentless assault (and also produced some of the craziest pits I've ever seen in my life).

Just shut the **** up and listen to this.

Yes I have to agree with the exception of Kill em All and maybe Ride the Lighting (minus a ballad or two) Slayer takes the cake when it comes to sheer speed and aggression.

Much like Ki, I wasn't big on them during my high school years so I never saw them live, but I heard stories that the pits of their lives shows were insane.

Oddly enough for many years it was AC/DC concerts that were the rowdiest up here back in the rocker hey day. Rednecksville, people storming the floor gates at concerts, smashing the coliseum windows to get in, fights everywhere, crazy!

How Alice In Chains got that many votes, but that Megadeth album got no votes is confusing to me.

Same man. Alice In Chains is awesome. Megadeth is not as good as them.

It`s not the Megadeth vote that surprises me that`s a great album. It`s that the piece of $hit known neo nazi Burzum doesn`t have any votes.

I would have voted him off, but confess his creativity is above that of Gaza
