How do Megadeth's crappy albums of the past two decades negate their earlier fantastic albums?

That's not entirely what I meant, but I looked back at my post and realized it could come off that way. I've just been finding more enjoyment out of Anthrax over the Dave Mustaine vocals, if you will. That's just me though.

Ja Mustaine's vocals are the Lars' drumming of Megadeth.

That's the point I was trying to make, so I'm actually happy you caught that. That's how I feel about Megadeth most of the time, so with Anthrax, it's a breath of fresh air to hear some full on thrash that's both listenable and somewhat fun. Dave Mustaine is fine and all, but with as many albums as they have, his voice can get both annoying and exhausting to listen to.

My ignorance shows here because I never really heavily got into Slayer. Something about them never really sat well with me.

Try again before Slayer forces you to.

I've been wanting to. I want to be part of the crowd that likes them. The last time I listened to them, I couldn't really get into the vocals with the music, but again, that's me.

I like Slayer, but I have to be in the mood. Which, unlike Metallica and Anthrax where I am always in the mood, I am not in the mood very often.

Basically how it is with me. I never really listened to them enough to say whether I like them or hate them, I just never could get into them like I did with the other thrash bands.
