Here's a random fact I discovered the other day.
Sad Wings Of Destiny was almost released in the U.S. on the Motown label.

Gull Records had a distribution deal with Motown Records to put all their records out in the U.S. but that deal ended just as the band finished the album, so it was put out on Janus Records instead.

Have you ever heard of an Aussie metal band from the early 70's called Buffalo? They had a sound, that sounded like a mixture between Sabbath and Priest and having prog roots could really jam out songs. The essential albums are "Volcanic Rock" and "Only Want You For Your Body".

I will defiantly take note of that Soldier, I'm always ready for some progressive rock that I haven't heard yet.

So how sexy are Judas Priest? I was having a JP night, playing their million albums, with favourite tracks such as:

Possibly the sexiest heavy metal band out there. Iron Maiden is the most famous one, but when one thinks of the sound of heavy metal I think they hear mostly JP riffs.

Maybe it is the same fame level as Black Sabbath. Led Zeppelin are more famous, but they are mainly a hard rock band.

And thx for welcome.
