I've never listened to a whole lot of the Ripper stuff, but "Jugulator" was a cheese ball classic.

When it comes to Priest, what do you guyst think are their 3 or 4 essential albums that every metal fan should own?

Honestly, anything from the 70s or 80s besides Turbo you can't really go wrong with.

I'm right there with you. Not Priest w/out Halford. Saw them live with Halford on the British Steel 30th anniversary tour. They can still kick ass live, even though they can't really do it in studio anymore. At least not from what I've heard. I actually haven't given Nostradamus a full listen, but to put out a double album this late in your career just seems like a stupid move.

Apart from a couple of tracks here and there I am not much of a Priest fan. Much preferred Dio. I know they sound different from each other but as archetypal Metal bands I just prefer Dio's music.

However Sad Wings Of Destiny is a phenomenal album and one of the best Metal albums out there.
