The singer uses way too much vibrato for me to withstand the entire album, though the riffs are outstanding.

You have a thing against vibrato? Jesus you have random musical hangups.

I explained that poorly.

Rinehart's vocals are melodic to the extreme and he uses vibrato on almost every syllable. It's just too much.

Melodic to the extreme? More strange ideas.

I totally get where he's coming from.

Metallica for me.

I reevaluated Slayer's discography and South of Heaven is less good than I thought it was. Metallica wins for me.

Metallica and slayer are very overrated. Metallica has annoying vocals, and terrible drums. The rifts are cool, but that's it. Slayer has cool rifts from time to time, but most of the time, they're just sloppy and don't make me want to bang my head. So I'll say none of them.
