But how is this possibe that Nirvana, considered to be purely one of the best 90s groups, competed so much with Guns & Roses at that time (80s group?)? I can remember the music press and thier comments at that time; they pretty hated each other.

What is more, Nirvana started in the 80s in fact, just like Guns and Roses. It is just they got pouplar/big in the 1990 after they released "Nevermind".

And do not tell me that Guns and Roses sounds like Metalica or other metal groups, even in the 80s. Unless you think about a sort of 80s country metal XD OKI, let's say... it was a sort of sub metal group for you... whatever XD Just as if metal was non existent in the 90s LOL. 2,3 years changed so much, heh.
